JAMES POTTER
James is one of the co-founders of Brentwood Fire Basketball, Established in 1989. He is the co-company director and is now in his 34th year of coaching in Brentwood. James has coached at the Club, County and Regional level. He has coached 6 Fire teams to the National Final Four. He strives to develop players skills and give them life changing opportunities. He has a special ability to coach some of the best U18’s in the country, but also care and develop primary school players. This capability allows him to help nurture individuals with their full development through the club.

ALEX POTTER
Alex is one of co-founders of Brentwood Fire Basketball, Established in 1989. She is the co-company director and is in her 34th year of coaching in Brentwood. Alex has coached many successful boys and girls teams, in 2014 she took home the U14 Boys National Championship and has seen herself take 5 Fire Teams to the National Final Fours. She is a fully qualified Primary School teacher and combines this passion of teaching with basketball to coach a range of ages and genders to the next level.

LAURA KIERNAN
Laura is the newest addition to the club, joining in 2021. She grew up in Ireland and has years of coaching and playing experience. Currently she is a full time paramedic working in and around the Romford area. Laura has a big passion to help Girls on and off the court and bring boundless positive energy to the programme.

ELEANOR MORROW
El has grown up in the club. She started playing at 4 and coached and played in the club until she left for University. El attended the Nottingham Trent University for 3 years where she studied Costume Design and Making. She Graduated from University in 2022 and is back in Brentwood to help coach once again. She will be Heading up the U12 Boys & U13 Boys in 2023.

MARIO LASZCZAK
Mario is one of the newest coaches in the club. He started playing basketball in primary school. He played for a Polish basketball club in junior leagues and seniors. He graduated from University in Computer Science and also has a teaching qualification. He has experience coaching youth basketball in Cracow. His first year with Fire was in 2023.
